Component experience

JHEMCU F722 NOXE

I flew the JHEMCU F722 NOXE for around one and a half years and have been extremely happy with it. Mine has proven very durable and has always run cleanly and reliably.

SEQURE Blueson A1 70A

I previously had bad experiences with a 65A AM32 ESC, although I was flying it without a capacitor at the time. I later tried the 70A Blueson A1. It uses the proven Toshiba TPHR8504PL MOSFETs, which were also used on my all-time favorite ESC, the Foxeer 60A Slim.

I experienced one hiccup with the Blueson as well, but I am fairly confident that the issue has been resolved since fitting a good capacitor. See Capacitor for FPV Racing for selection and installation guidance.

Build notes

  • Use a good-quality, correctly rated capacitor with the ESC.
  • The Gemfan 5128.0 Fury propellers offer great durability and a great flight feel.
  • Look out for AliExpress sales to get a set of four T-Hobby Velox V3 motors for around €45.
  • Select an analog, HDZero, Walksnail or DJI video system depending on your priorities and budget.
